Another card I made a while ago. I enjoyed making this one (I think it is my favouite) because the people look happy in it (though the credit for painting those sweet faces goes to my Aunt, the fabulous artist). Come to think of it, this piece was very simple to make. A few loose coils for the girl's hair and man's luscious moustache, simple circular ones for the flowers and really small tight circles for the polka dots in her dress. I know no self respecting bride would wear a polka-dotted wedding dress but where's the harm in being humourous? The man looks ridiculous in his hat and bow tie too but he is adorable. Hope this makes you smile, if not quill :)
Take care

This is really pretty :)
Would you mind if I worked on some of your tips and tried my hand at quilling? :)
Cheers,
Me
Hey "you"
I'd be super glad if you start quilling. Go ahead and do show me once your work. Its a little effort in the beginning but its lots of fun when you get the hang of it :)
take care
I have been spending the last hour going through all the designs you have put up here :) All are wonderful! :) I am definitely going to try my hands at it :)
Now that's a wedding I would want to be invited for! :-) The quilling and paint - winning combination. Painting on handmade paper is pretty tricky - Water colours or fabric?
Water colours. My aunt who is an illustrator helped me with the painting because I am really bad with things that have a potential at being messy :P She used very little water, because as you said painting on handmade paper is really tricky.
